For fashion designers & clothing brands
Beyond the lookbook.
Into the story.
I work with the people building the Bay Area: founders, executives, coaches, creatives, physicians, chefs, artists, podcasters, interior designers, architects — anyone who has built something worth believing in and needs the world to see it clearly.
You’ve spent months building a collection. You’ve sourced the fabric, made every pattern decision, thought about every seam. Your work has a point of view, a history, a visual language that is entirely yours. The question is whether your photography is telling that story — or just showing the clothes.
I work with independent fashion designers, textile artists, and emerging clothing brands across the Bay Area who are ready for imagery that finally matches the level of what they make. Not just a pretty lookbook. A complete visual identity — the designer behind the work, the process, the fabric, the atelier, and the finished pieces in the world.

The process
01
Discovery Call
We start with a conversation about your brand — your aesthetic, your ideal clients, your visual references, and what you need the photos to do. I send you a brand questionnaire beforehand so we arrive prepared. This isn’t a sales call. It’s a creative collaboration from the first moment.
02
Creative Planning
I build a custom shot plan around your brand — locations that feel right for your aesthetic, a shot list that covers every image you need across your website, social media, and press, and styling guidance so everything coheres visually. Nothing is left to chance on shoot day.
03
The Shoot
Relaxed, editorial, and in environments that feel native to your work — your atelier, a studio with the right light, a location in the city that matches the energy of your collection. I work with a documentary eye alongside planned shots, so we get both the polished hero images and the real, alive moments in between.
04
Delivery
our edited gallery arrives within two weeks on a private, PIN-protected online gallery. You make your selections, I retouch each chosen image to final quality, and deliver high-resolution files ready for print, web, and social. Everything you need, organized and ready to use immediately.

Everything you want to know
01/
Can we shoot in my studio?
Always yes — and I strongly prefer it. Your actual workspace is the most powerful backdrop available to us. The cutting table, the fabric swatches, the dress form, the controlled chaos of creation in progress — these things communicate your craft before anyone reads a word. We can also add a secondary location if your space is limited or you want a contrasting environment for certain shots.
02/
What if my workspace isn’t photogenic?
It almost certainly is — you just can’t see it anymore because you’re in it every day. The details that feel mundane to you are often the most compelling to someone outside your world. I’ll find the angles and the light that make your space look the way it actually is: the working environment of a skilled creative. That said, if your space genuinely won’t work, we’ll find a studio or location that fits your aesthetic equally well.
03/
How long does a session take?
Most fashion branding sessions run three to four hours. This gives us enough time to cover your studio, your process, your portraits, and any styled garment shots without feeling rushed. If you have a larger collection to document, multiple locations, or a team to include, a half-day session gives us more room to breathe and explore.
04/
Do I need models for a fashion branding session?
It depends on what you’re building. If you want lookbook-style shots with the garments worn, yes — we can bring in one or two models, or work with people who already wear your work. If the focus is on you as the designer and the process of making, models aren’t necessary. Most sessions are a mix of designer portraits, process shots, and styled product or garment images. We’ll figure out the right balance during our planning call.
05/
How many outfits or looks should I plan?
For most fashion designers I recommend three to four distinct looks — ranging from how you actually work (comfortable, practical, still put together) to how you show up to an opening or a buyer meeting. You might also want to wear a piece from your own collection, which always makes for particularly strong images. I’ll send you detailed styling guidance ahead of the shoot and you can text me photos of options for feedback..
06/
What’s the investment?
Branding sessions for fashion designers start at $1,500 and vary based on session length, number of locations, and whether models are involved. Every session includes two planning calls, a custom shot plan, styling guidance, and a fully edited gallery delivered within two weeks. Reach out and I’ll put together a custom quote based on exactly what you need.

Frequently asked questions
01/
What should I wear?
Think about how you want to be perceived — and dress slightly more intentionally than an average workday without losing authenticity. For most wellness practitioners this means clean, simple clothing in your brand colors or neutral earth tones. If you wear a specific uniform or work clothes — a yoga outfit, a clinical jacket — those should absolutely be included. Bring two to three options.
02/
Can we shoot in my treatment room or studio?
Always yes — and I strongly prefer it. Your actual space is where your clients will actually be. Photographing you there makes the unfamiliar familiar, reduces the anxiety new clients feel about trying something new, and communicates your environment in a way no rented studio can.
03/
Can we also shoot outdoors?
Absolutely — and for many wellness practitioners it’s a wonderful choice. Natural light is the most flattering and authentic light source for wellness photography. We’ll choose outdoor locations that feel intentional and aligned with your brand — not generic, but specific to your practice and the Bay Area environment that is part of your story.
04/
I’m worried about feeling awkward. Can you help with that?
Believe or not, most of the faces you see on this webpage had the same concern. The good news is that I consider half of my job is making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Brand clients consistently report the their session experience felt easy and fun, even the ones who were nervous beforehand.
05/
How long does it take to receive the photos?
The turnaround time for receiving your photos is typically 1-2 weeks, depending on the scope of the project. I then have a gallery ready for you to choose your selections. From the time I receive your selections it takes 1-2 weeks. I ensure each image is carefully edited to meet our high standards. If you’d like me to choose the final images then it is only 1-2 weeks.
06/
Do I need a model client for in-session photos?
Not necessarily — but it helps for certain shots. A willing friend, a colleague, or an established client who’s comfortable being photographed can make these images feel more real. I can also work with just you and use creative angles that suggest the presence of a client without one actually being there. We’ll figure out the right approach during our planning call.
